Stefan Westner possesses extensive experience in the insurance and reinsurance sectors, having worked primarily at Munich Re from July 2009 to April 2024 in various roles including Chief Underwriting Officer for Aviation and Contingency & Crisis Management, Head of Aviation, and Senior Sales Manager, focusing on marketing and sales for the IMPROVEX™ platform. Prior to these roles, Stefan Westner served as a Casualty Assistant Underwriter for facultative business related to Middle East markets and held the position of Marine Junior Underwriter at Munchener Ruck Italia Spa, emphasizing treaty marine underwriting for the Italian market.
