Philip Rotner

Investment Committee Member at Museum Of Science

Philip Rotner serves as the Chief Investment Officer at Boston Children's Hospital since May 2010, where responsibilities include managing the organization's Endowment, Pension, and short-term investment assets while building a top-tier investment team. Rotner also contributes to investment strategy as a member of the Investment Committees for both the Museum of Science and Mass PRIM. Previous experience includes a tenure as Managing Director at MIT Investment Management Company from November 1992 to April 2010, Vice President at Bank of Boston from 1989 to 1992, and Banking Officer at Bank of Tokyo from July 1985 to July 1987. Rotner holds an MBA in Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Asian Studies from Amherst College. Additionally, Rotner studied at Doshisha University during the 1983-1984 academic year.
