Jenny Youngson

Jenny Youngson is an experienced museum professional currently serving as Senior Museum Development Manager at Museums Galleries Scotland since October 2011. Prior roles include Museum Development Manager: Accreditation and Collections & Engagement Manager. Additionally, Jenny has contributed as an Arts Advisory Group member for the Edinburgh and Lothians Health Foundation since October 2015 and served as a Committee Member for the Scottish Archaeological Finds and Allocations Panel from July 2013 to July 2016. Previous experience includes roles as a Collections Officer at Glasgow Life and as a Documentation Officer and Inventory Assistant at Culture & Sport Glasgow, along with a Decant Technician position at Glasgow City Council. Jenny holds an MLitt in Museum & Gallery Studies and a BSc (Hons) in Environmental & Behavioural Biology from the University of St Andrews.
