James Ajaka

James Ajaka is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the food and beverage industry. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairperson of Darrell Lea Confectionery Co Pty Ltd since June 2020, James oversees a leading global manufacturer of confectionery products, including soft eating liquorice and chocolate enrobed items. In addition, James has held positions such as Chairperson and Director at My Muscle Chef since September 2019, and previously served as Chief Executive Officer at Allied Pinnacle, enhancing the company's stature as a major flour and bakery product manufacturer. Notable earlier roles include Director at the Australian Beverages Council and Chief Executive Officer at nudie Foods, where market share significantly increased under leadership. James obtained an MBA from AGSM @ UNSW Business School and holds a Bachelor of Business in Marketing from Australian Catholic University, complemented by a Diploma in Business Management from TAFE NSW.
