Daniel Chernobrov has over 12 years of experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP). Daniel began their career in 2009 as a Natural Language Processing Consultant for General Motors, where they defined standards for linguistic knowledge representations for NLP in English, analyzed and prioritized customer requirements, and developed an English language pack model for normalization of text messages for SMS dictation. In 2012, they became a Natural Language Processing Analyst at Samsung Electronics. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Text Analytics Leader at Verint. In 2016, they became the Head of NLP Research at i.am+. From 2019 to 2021, they served as the Head of NLP Research and NLP Lead at Vonage, where they researched and implemented Deep Learning methods for Natural Language and text mining for Hebrew and English language, including sentiment analysis, NER, classification, and clustering. Daniel currently serves as the NLP Tech Lead at MyndYou.
Daniel Chernobrov received their PhD in Applied Linguistics from Bar-Ilan University in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Applied Linguistics from Bar-Ilan University in 2011. Daniel also holds a Bachelor of Education (BEd) from Seminar Hakibbutzim College of Education in 2009. In October 2020, Daniel Chernobrov obtained five certifications from LinkedIn in Advanced NLP with Python for Machine Learning, Applied Machine Learning: Algorithms, Building Deep Learning Applications with Keras 2.0, Building and Deploying Deep Learning Applications with TensorFlow, and NLP with Python for Machine Learning Essential Training.
