David Roberts is the Head of Product at n8n. David was previously the Head of Product at super.AI, a location analytics company focused on analysing data from a panel of 2.1m mobile phones. Products included measuring the number of store visits an ad campaign generates and selecting new store locations. Used by 70% of top-grossing retail brands in Germany within three years.

At super.AI, David was responsible for product design, growth hacking, customer needs, and product strategy. David conceived and deployed two apps with 4.6/5 rating in app store and an average user acquisition cost of €0.70. David also designed location data products that won every head-to-head test they entered (e.g. vs Deutsche Telekom, Telefonica, GfK, etc.).

In terms of growth hacking, David designed and built the largest location panel in Germany (2.1m users) through a combination of organic and paid acquisition. David also led a roadshow with 38 meetings around Germany to understand how to fit products to market. And they personally cold-called potential customers to ensure attendance.

When it came to product strategy, David crafted a privacy-first approach that left us at an advantage when European privacy law (GDPR) was introduced (didn’t lose users or historical data). David oversaw a product pivot from ad targeting to market research which resulted in 170% revenue increase in first year.

David Roberts studied computer engineering at Imperial College London, where they were a Dean's List student. David then attended INSEAD to earn their MBA. Afterward, they joined the startup accelerator Y Combinator.

David Roberts works with Stephan Aina - Head of Sales, Hilary Torn - Head of Growth, and Aitor Roma Vázquez - Community Manager, Spanish. Their manager is Jan Oberhauser, Founder & CEO.
