Constant van Aerschot

Constant Van Aerschot is an experienced professional in sustainable development and business leadership, currently serving as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Nanyang Technological University Singapore since June 2022. As Director for Asia Pacific at Earth on Board and Accounting for Sustainability (A4S) from April 2020 and August 2022 respectively, Constant focuses on promoting sustainability initiatives in the region. Previously, Constant held the position of Director Asia Pacific at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development from January 2019 to June 2022 and served as Executive Director of the Business Council for Sustainable Development Singapore, which Constant founded, from January 2013 to December 2018. From October 2005 to September 2012, Constant worked as VP of Sustainable Development & Public Affairs at Lafarge, overseeing global regulations and green building standards. Early career roles include a Corporate Strategy Analyst at Alcatel-Lucent and Office Leader for Arup in Germany. Constant's educational background includes an MBA from Cranfield School of Management and a Master in Science in Civil Engineering from ETH Zürich.
