Project Staff Scientist, Europa Clipper Mission

Samuel Howell is a Research Scientist at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, specializing in mid-ocean ridges and the study of dilational bands on Europa, a moon of Jupiter, as part of the Europa Clipper Mission. With a PhD in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Samuel has previously worked as a Graduate Assistant, where research focused on tectonomagmatic processes and fault deformation.
