Formulation Lead at NASA

Stacey Brooks is currently the Formulation Lead at NASA. Prior to their current position, they were an Operations Manager and Policy Analyst at SourceAmerica from March 2001 to February 2004. In this role, Stacey was responsible for managing 25 contracts worth $28M and developing new and existing federal government contracts. Stacey was also responsible for analyzing legislation for impact to people with disabilities and Ability One program, producing and implementing communications strategy for approaching Congress, drafting testimony, talking points, and letters to Congress, and presenting in training sessions during regional and national conferences.

From September 1999 to February 2001, Stacey was the Communications Director and Legislative Assistant for the U.S. House of Representatives. In this role, they served as a liaison between member organizations and Congressional staff, authored action letters, issue briefs to affiliated membership, and presented in training sessions during regional and national conferences.

Stacey began their career in May 1997 as a Public Relations Specialist/Deputy Press Secretary for Senator Kit Bond in the U.S. Senate.

Stacey Brooks has a master's degree in public administration from George Mason University and a bachelor's degree in elementary education from William Jewell College.

They work with Barbara Mader - Early Stage Innovation & Partnerships Lead, Ruth Krat - Execution Lead/Operations. Stacey Brooks reports to Voleak Roeum, Director of Resources Management.
