Thomas Carrington

Thomas Carrington is an experienced aerospace professional with a robust background in safety and mission assurance. Currently serving as the Moon to Mars International Project Chief Safety and Mission Assurance Officer at NASA, Thomas manages critical engineering activities related to Human Spaceflight hardware and software. Prior to this role, Thomas held various positions at NASA, including Deputy Chief of the Quality and Flight Equipment Division and Lead for EVA Safety & Mission Assurance, demonstrating a strong focus on safety, reliability, and quality in space operations. Thomas also brings experience from SAIC, where Thomas managed operations for safety engineering, and from MEMC Southwest, where Thomas oversaw human resources for a large manufacturing workforce. Thomas's career began in the United States Air Force as a Space Operations Officer, further solidifying expertise in aerospace. Thomas holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and an MBA in Human Resources Management from The University of Dallas.
