Valerie Moore

Valerie Moore is an accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience at NASA, currently serving as an Aerospace Engineer in Guidance, Navigation & Control Systems since April 2025. Previous roles at NASA include internships where significant contributions were made to projects such as the development of an aircraft for Mars exploration and the X-59 experimental aircraft. Valerie's background includes a strong foundation in research, with a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware, where expertise was demonstrated in CFD simulations and structural analysis. Additional experiences encompass mentoring students in machining, conducting multidisciplinary research on climate resilience, and leading design efforts for aerospace competitions.
