Zane Mittag

Zane Mittag, PMP, currently serves as the Habitation and Logistics Outpost (HALO) Systems Engineering and Integration Lead and Thermal Control Systems Project Manager at NASA since August 2020. Prior to NASA, Zane held various roles at Jacobs, including Project Manager and Senior Engineer II, where responsibilities included leading projects supporting the NASA Johnson Space Center and managing space flight hardware development aboard the International Space Station. Earlier experience at W-Industries encompassed project management and engineering for offshore topsides process systems, contributing to multiple stages from proposal to post-delivery support. Zane began the career as an Engineering Technician at Apex Geoscience Inc, supporting data collection for wind turbine generator projects. Zane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
