Warren Lovely

Warren Lovely is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in economic strategy and public sector analysis. Currently serving as Managing Director, Chief Rates Strategist & Public Sector Analyst at the National Bank of Canada since April 2015, Warren has previously held various senior roles at CIBC World Markets, including Managing Director of the Macro Strategy Group and Executive Director for Government Debt Origination. Earlier in the career, positions included Financial Economist at BMO Nesbitt Burns and Economist at CIBC World Markets. Warren began in the public sector as a Policy Analyst/Economist with the Government of Canada following an accelerated training program. Warren holds a Master of Arts in Economics from Queen's University and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University.
