Effie Bitrou

Effie Bitrou has over 15 years of experience in digital banking and project delivery, currently serving as Director and Head of Digital Business at the National Bank of Greece since October 2016. Previous roles include Sector Head for Digital Banking and Head of Product Development for Digital Channels at the same institution. Prior to this, Effie held the position of Vice President for Digital Programmes at J.P. Morgan Asset Management from October 2013 to September 2016 and worked at Accenture UK as Manager of Project Delivery, IT Consultant, and Analyst from November 2007 to September 2013. Effie holds an MSc in Information Systems and Innovation Management from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a BEng in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
