Abigail Dillingham is a dedicated Visual Art Teacher at Alexandria City Public Schools since August 2015, specializing in culturally-responsive teaching for a diverse student population. With extensive experience in differentiating lessons for English Language Learners and students with special needs, Abigail also holds the title of National Board Certified Visual Arts Teacher with the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. Prior roles include ELL Teaching for grades K-2, leading professional development in Limited Resource Teacher Training, and volunteering at Escuela de Santa Maria to enhance English proficiency among students. Abigail has served in various educational capacities, including as a Youth Education Consultant and a Museum Teacher, and has a Master's Degree in Education from George Mason University and a B.A. in Arts Management from the College of Charleston.
