Christopher Lehman is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in literacy pedagogy and educational leadership. As the Founding Director of The Educator Collaborative, LLC since April 2014, Christopher has focused on innovative professional learning for K-12 educators through a culturally affirming lens. Additionally, Christopher serves on the Board of Directors for the National Center for Families Learning, providing mission-based leadership and strategic governance, and advises on education-related issues as a Special Advisor. With roots in consulting through Christopher Lehman Consulting, LLC, and significant contributions to the National Council of Teachers of English, including roles as Executive Committee Member and Chair of the Middle Level Section Steering Committee, Christopher brings a wealth of expertise in enhancing literacy instruction. Educational background includes an EdM in Education Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University, an MA in Teaching of English from New York University, and a BA in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
