Melissa V. currently serves as the HSE Team Lead at National Flour Mills, a position held since August 2023, after an extensive tenure at Blue Waters Products Limited where various roles included Health & Safety Team Lead, Training Coordinator, Quality Health Safety Environment Coordinator, Quality Systems Officer, and Quality Assurance Technician from April 2011 to August 2023. In these roles, Melissa has implemented safety initiatives, developed training programs, managed quality systems, and ensured compliance with health and safety regulations. Melissa holds a Master's degree in Occupational Environment, Safety and Health from the University of the West Indies, along with multiple qualifications in Environmental Management and Occupational Safety from accredited institutions. Additionally, ongoing professional development is being pursued at the Caribbean Institute of Quality.
