Doug Hanes

Doug Hanes is the Executive Vice President of P&C Product Management at National General Insurance. Doug has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining National General, they were a litigation consultant at FirmLogic from November 2000 to February 2006. Doug also worked as a research fellow at the National Institutes of Health from August 1997 to November 2000.

Doug Hanes earned their MA and PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience from Vanderbilt University. Prior to that, they earned their BS with Highest Honors in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

They work with Thomas Petersson - Chief Executive Officer of Euro Accident, Brenda Castellano - Executive Vice President of Sales & Strategy, and Jeffrey Weissmann - General Counsel and Secretary. Their manager is Barry Karfunkel, CEO & Co-Chairman.
