Doug Moran

Doug Moran is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in embedded systems and software engineering, currently serving as Lead Engineer for National Geographic's Exploration Technology Lab. With a background spanning over two decades, Doug has held various roles, including Senior Manager Products and Services at eHealth Africa and Director of Big Data Product Management at Pentaho. Notably, Doug co-founded companies such as Keyola and Appsource, demonstrating expertise in proactive business intelligence and software architecture. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, both from Florida Institute of Technology.
