Sander Cohan

Sander Cohan currently serves as the Head of Innovation in Strategy, Innovation and Market Analytics (SIMA) at National Grid, leading a team in the US and UK to develop transformative technologies and business models for the energy transition since August 2021. Prior to this role, Sander held the position of Director of Innovation at Enel Green Power North America, where responsibilities included collaborating with startups and internal stakeholders to commercialize sustainable energy technologies. Previous roles encompass various positions in energy consulting and analysis, including Principal at ESAI Energy LLC and Energy Analyst at KEMA, as well as early career experience in finance and marketing. Sander holds an MA in International Finance and Energy Policy from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a BA with Honors in History from Columbia University.
