Jennie Larkin

Jennie Larkin currently serves as the Acting Director and Deputy Director of the Division of Neuroscience at the National Institute on Aging, where responsibilities include fostering extramural research and training focused on dementia and the aging brain. Prior to this role, Larkin was the Director of the Office of Research Evaluation and Operations at the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, overseeing disease coding, funding announcements, and advisory activities. Larkin also held the position of Senior Advisor for Extramural Programs and Strategic Development at the Office of the Associate Director for Data Science, where contributions included chairing the Big Data to Knowledge executive committee. Earlier experience includes serving as Program Director at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, managing systems biology and computational biology initiatives. Larkin received educational credentials from Stanford University between 1990 and 1996.
