Gabriela Bonina serves as a Senior Policy and Data Visualization Analyst at National Journal since April 2024. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Consultant at the International Peace Institute from May 2023 to November 2023, where Gabriela contributed to a high-impact policy brief for the 2023 United Nations Conference of Parties (COP28) under the guidance of Michael Weisberg and Jimena Leiva Roesch. As a Project Manager at the Galápagos Education Research Alliance from October 2021 to January 2023, Gabriela led a team focused on developing business plans for Kamak Coffee Roasters in Galápagos and conducted interviews with local entrepreneurs to assess their economic needs. Additionally, Gabriela worked as a Research Analyst at the David Hume Institute Foundation in 2021, producing a policy report on “The Future of Work and Education in the Digital Era.” Early career experience includes serving as a Team Leader at Chick-fil-A George Washington from July 2017 to August 2020. Gabriela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in May 2023.
