Aaron Mamula is a seasoned research economist and data scientist at NOAA since September 2008, specializing in economic analysis for West Coast commercial and recreational fishing, freshwater management, offshore wind energy development, and regional economic impact assessments. In addition to professional responsibilities at NOAA, Aaron has served as a volunteer assistant soccer coach and a research fellow in the Division of Physical and Biological Sciences at UC Santa Cruz since August 2009. Aaron holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Texas A&M University, an MS in Economics from Southern Methodist University, and an MA in Economics from Oregon State University.
