Jessica Shallcross (formerly Levine) is a highly experienced Physical Scientist with a strong background in meteorology and atmospheric sciences. Currently with NOAA since January 2019, Jessica has also worked as an Instrument Engineer at Arctic Slope Regional Corporation and held various roles at Lockheed Martin, including JPSS-1 Mission Planner and MDL Lead. Jessica's responsibilities encompassed supporting ground systems for JPSS and GOES satellites, conducting data analysis, and developing software tools. An academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology and a Master's degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from Penn State University, along with a minor in Environmental Engineering. Jessica is furthering education at George Mason University.
