Christopher Morgan is an experienced community planner currently working with the National Park Service since December 2022, focusing on conservation and recreation projects, particularly collaborating with the City of Duluth on the Waabizheshikana: The Marten Trail. Previously, Morgan served as a Real Estate GIS Specialist at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, where contributions included land research for acquisitions and creating the Public Access Lands Atlas. Additional experience includes roles as a Conservation Planning Intern with Tsay Keh Dene Nation, a Community Forest Planning Intern in British Columbia, and a Planning Program Coordinator at the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Morgan holds a Master of Natural Resources and Environmental Studies from the University of Northern British Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with concentrations in Cartography and Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
