Ahmed al-Abd

Ahmed Al-Abd is an accomplished biomedical researcher and academic with extensive experience in pharmacology and toxicology. Currently serving as the Biomedical Research Division Head at Nawah Scientific since June 2022, Ahmed has held multiple roles at the National Research Centre (NRC) since August 2004, including Professor of Pharmacology & Toxicology. Previous positions include Associate Dean of Academics at Gulf Medical University and Chief Scientific Officer at Nawah Scientific. Ahmed has contributed to research and education in prominent institutions such as King Abdul Aziz University, Northeastern University, and the Catholic University of Korea. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biological and Biomedical Sciences and another in Pharmacology and Toxicology, along with a Master's and Bachelor's in Pharmacy.
