Ashwani Mehta

Ashwani Mehta has extensive experience in finance and taxation, serving as a Senior Consultant at TAX & FINANCIAL CONSULTANT/ECONOMIC ANALYST since February 2015 and working as an Arbitrator at the National Stock Exchange of India Limited since October 2017. A former Chief Commissioner of Income Tax within the Indian Revenue Service, Ashwani retired in February 2015 after over 35 years of service at various levels across multiple locations including Mumbai and Delhi. Previous roles include Chief Vigilance Officer at Hindustan Organic Chemicals Ltd. from 2004 to 2007 and Deputy Director at D.G. S & D from 1986 to 1989. Ashwani began an academic career as a Lecturer in Economics at the University of Delhi from 1975 to 1979. Educational achievements include a Master of Arts in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics and advanced leadership programs from prestigious institutions such as The Wharton School and the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
