Mike Derose

Mike DeRose is a seasoned professional in the fields of education and mental health. Currently serving as a Professor at National University since August 2024, Mike has extensive experience as the Division Director at Aspiranet, a role held since 2013 after advancing through various positions from program manager to senior clinical director. In addition to this, Mike operates a private practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist, providing therapy and consulting services. Mike has also held a faculty position at California State University, Stanislaus, focusing on Non-Profit management in the MPA program from August 2021 to November 2024. Prior experience includes serving as Outpatient Program Supervisor at Sierra Vista Child & Family Services from September 2001 to July 2007. Mike holds an MA in Counseling Psychology from National University and a BA in Psychology from the University of the Pacific.
