Angelos Alamanos

Angelos Alamanos is an experienced Senior Editor for Nature Sustainability at Nature Portfolio since May 2022, having previously served as an Associate Editor. Prior to this role, Angelos held positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Dundalk Institute of Technology, a Policy Analyst in Water Services at the National Water Forum of Ireland, and an Associate Researcher at Athens University of Economics and Business, among others. Angelos completed a PhD in Hydro-economic modeling with Optimization and Multicriteria Analysis techniques under Climate Change from the University of Thessaly, where prior studies included a B.Sc. and M.Eng. in Civil Engineering. Additional experience includes roles as a Visiting Researcher at NIBIO Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research and a Civil Engineer at Complete Construction Skoulas Betsios & Partners.
