Greig Cowan

Greig Cowan is an experienced data science professional, currently serving as the Head of Data Science for Data Innovation at NatWest Group since January 2019. Previously, Greig worked as a Data Scientist in Data Innovation at RBS and served as an STFC Ernest Rutherford Fellow at The University of Edinburgh, focusing on data analysis and research within international collaborations. Greig's earlier roles include Postdoctoral Researcher positions at EPFL and the University of Edinburgh, where significant contributions were made to LHCb data analysis at CERN and the development of data-fitting frameworks. Greig's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics and an M.Sci in Mathematics and Physics, both from the University of Glasgow.
