Karen Drummond

Karen Drummond has extensive experience in credit risk management and restructuring within the banking sector, currently serving as Head of Heightened Monitoring and Restructuring Credit at NatWest Group since October 2012. In this role, Karen oversees credit risk for SME and mid-corporate assets showing signs of stress while managing large corporate assets needing intervention from Restructuring teams. Previously, Karen held various leadership positions in risk management, including head of risk for Restructuring and leading transformation initiatives. Prior experience includes a senior manager role in Business Recovery Services at PwC, focusing on advising lenders in distressed scenarios, and a relationship management position at the Royal Bank of Scotland. Karen holds a degree in Technology and Business Studies with a focus on Accountancy and Computer Science from the University of Strathclyde.
