Natasha Trainor

Natasha Trainor is an experienced investment professional with a strong background in pension investment management. Currently serving as Assistant Vice President and previously as Director of Pension Investments at NAV CANADA since September 2020, Natasha has a history of leadership roles including Director of Investments at the University of Ottawa and Chief Investment Officer at Provident10, where oversight of the Newfoundland and Labrador Public Service Pension Plan was a key responsibility. Natasha's extensive experience also includes managing an $8 billion defined benefit pension fund with the Department of Finance in Newfoundland and Labrador, performing financial analysis at AGF Management Limited, and various roles in wealth management at RBC Global Asset Management. An MBA graduate from Ivey Business School and a B.Sc in Chemical Engineering from Queen's University, Natasha's diverse background is complemented by engineering experience at Ontario Power Generation and DuPont.
