Sharon Hanger

Sharon Hanger has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. Sharon began their career in 1997 as a Senior Manager/Director for Technology Enablers, Inc. where they managed multiple workflow and document management based projects for Fortune 1000 and Fortune 500 customers in Telecommunications and Financial Services. In 2002, they became the Director of Business Development and Product Management at Realeum, providing enterprise software SaaS model to the Multi-family Real Estate industry. In 2003, they joined Booz Allen Hamilton as an Associate, managing consulting personnel, providing program/project management skills to projects assigned, and working to develop large proposals. In 2008, Ms. Hanger was the Director of Professional Services-Federal and Director of Market Strategy and Analyst Relations at Metastorm, Inc. (now OpenText). Sharon was responsible for the Federal Region Professional Services team and delivery of Metastorm BPM projects, as well as interfacing with multiple analyst firms such as Gartner and Forrester. In 2010, they joined Netcordant, Inc. as the Vice President of Product Management/Marketing. From 2013 to 2015, they were the Managing Director at RGA (Robert Gatto Associates), providing product management, project management and product strategy consulting to startups and established clients. Currently, they are a Product Management/Operations Consultant at NCS Analytics since 2016, providing go-to-market strategy, content development, market research, product marketing, and product management strategy.

Sharon Hanger obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts from Mary Baldwin University. Sharon then went on to receive a Marketing Strategy Certificate from Cornell University in the field of Marketing. In 2016, they obtained Membership from AIPMM The Association of International Product Marketing and Management. Finally, in 2021, they obtained a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from the Scrum Alliance.
