Severine Vieux

Severine Vieux is the current Chief Financial Officer at Nearpod. Severine has also held the position of Corporate Controller at CareCloud and Manager of Global Accounting at Burger King Corporation.

Severine has over 5 years of experience in leading treasury and debt functions, as well as M&A diligence efforts and defining integration plans with senior management teams. Severine is also experienced in developing and reporting on a clear set of KPIs, preparing reports for investors and bankers, and implementing various operational processes in accounting, sales ops, and FP&A.

In their role as Chief Financial Officer at Nearpod, Severine is responsible for leading the annual budget process and the monthly monitoring of budget to actual results. Severine also oversees the entire accounting function, including g/l close, A/R and A/P. Additionally, they drive the annual health benefits negotiation process with brokers and carriers, and manages the YE compensation review across the company.

Severine has a proven track record in successfully leading ERP selection processes and overseeing implementation processes. Severine also has extensive experience in reviewing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations of accounts related to debt, derivatives, and miscellaneous other assets and liabilities.

Severine Vieux has a Bachelor's degree from Boston College - Carroll School of Management in Accounting and Information Systems.
