Gene Hanlon has extensive experience in waste management and public administration, serving as the Recycling Coordinator for the City of Lincoln, Nebraska since 1987. In this role, Gene oversees the recycling drop-off program, public education initiatives, and the administration of the Biosolids Land Application Program, along with grant writing and solid waste planning. Additionally, Gene was a board member of WasteCap Nebraska from 1994 to 2011. Gene holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, obtained between 1979 and 1981.
