Alwin Kooistra

Alwin Kooistra is a seasoned professional in data analysis and business analysis, currently serving as a Business Analyst and Data Analyst at NS since January 2024 and as the founder of Analytics MKB since September 2023. Alwin has held key data roles at De Troubadour Interieurs since January 2020, including positions as Data Analyst and Senior Data Scientist. Prior experience includes a tenure at Nationale-Nederlanden, where Alwin advanced from Data Scientist to Senior Data Engineer between September 2017 and July 2023. Alwin's career began at a.s.r. de Nederlandse verzekeringsmaatschappij, progressing from Junior Business Analyst to Senior Data Analyst for damage insurance from February 2012 to August 2017. Alwin obtained a Bachelor of Science in Bedrijfswiskunde from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and furthered education with studies at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
