Johan Fredrik Baalbergen

Johan Fredrik Baalbergen is an experienced Senior System Engineer specializing in traction, interference current, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) at NS since October 2012. Baalbergen serves as an expert in various European working groups, including the maintenance of the EN 50121-series for electromagnetic compatibility and the EN 50617-series for train detection systems, and is involved in the EN 50728 for EMC testing of rolling stock. Prior to NS, Baalbergen worked at TU Delft, advancing from Electrical Engineer to PhD student while achieving a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering. Academic qualifications include a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
