Robotics Software Engineer at Neocis

Athrva Pandhare has a diverse range of work experience in the field of robotics, software engineering, and computer vision. From 2023, Athrva worked as a Robotics Software Engineer at Neocis. Prior to that, from 2021 to 2023, Athrva served as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania. As a Research Assistant, Athrva worked on a mapping algorithm that utilizes deep learning for map prediction. As a Teaching Assistant, Athrva handled various responsibilities including developing small angle quadrotor control on MATLAB and developing localization and mapping codes on MATLAB and Python. From 2020 to 2021, Athrva worked as a Computer Vision and Machine Vision Research Intern at Welspun Group, where they developed machine vision-based metrology systems and a surface defect detection system.

Athrva Pandhare completed a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from SRM University from 2016 to 2020. In 2019, they obtained certification in "Robotics: Aerial Robotics" from Coursera. In 2020, they received certifications in "Deep Learning with TensorFlow" from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and "Julia Scientific Computing" from University of Cape Town. Currently, Athrva is pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Robotics from the University of Pennsylvania, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
