Gregory Hess

Scientific Advisor at NeoGenomics

Dr. Hess practices clinically at the CVIM Clinic and teaches at Drexel University College of Medicine Philadelphia. His appointments include serving as a Physician Advisory on the ASCO CancerLinQ Board, and the Clinical Excellence Committee for Millennium Health. His research focuses on the creation of very large, integrated patient level analytical platforms, and the conduct of retrospective, real-world studies with a broad range of collaborating investigators & organizations. Most recently Dr. Hess served as EVP and Chief Medical Officer at Symphony Health. During that time, he also Chaired ASCOs Data Analytics Committee for CancerLinQ, and was an investigator on a range of studies with the NIH, CDC, FDA, ACC and SRTR, as well as pharmaceutical sponsored research. His academic training includes a MD from Albany Medical College with additional specialty and Fellowship programs, an MSc in Health Services Research at Erasmus University, Netherlands, and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Fellowships include his selection to the White House Fellows and the US Japan Leadership program, serving as the first Senior Fellow at the Institute for Health Economics and Policy, Tokyo Japan. In his clinical practice, he has served as an Asst Professor Georgetown University, Assoc. Professor at Emory University, Team Physician for the U.S. Alpine Ski Team and Board Member, Kerr White Institute for Health Services Research at Emory.
