Fred Colen's educational career began with him obtaining a high school diploma in scientific studies from St. Antonius Doctor High School in Kerkrade, the Netherlands. Fred then went on to study electrical engineering at Technical University in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, where they earned their bachelor's degree. Finally, they pursued a master's degree in electrical engineering with a specialization in biomedical technology from RWTH Aachen University in Germany.
