Marcel de Leeuw is currently a Business Development Chef at Nestlé Professional since June 2017 and serves as the owner of MdL Culinaire Inspiratie since January 2019. Marcel has been an active board member of Bocuse D'or Nederland since January 2017 and a juror in the F&B sector at Horecava from November 2008 until September 2024. Previously, Marcel held the position of Executive Head Chef at DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station from February 2011 to June 2017, overseeing the rebranding of the hotel from Mint Hotel Amsterdam. Prior experience includes serving as SVH Meesterkok/Chef de Cuisine at Bilderberg Garden Hotel, Souschef roles at both Bilderberg Garden Hotel and Restaurant Juliana Valkenburg, and other culinary positions across various restaurants and hotels. Marcel completed education at the Gilde van Nederlandse Meesterkoks "Sterklas."
