Nicolas Rivero

Nicolas Rivero is a skilled chemical engineer currently serving as a Staff Engineer at Nestlé Purina North America since March 2023. Prior experience includes a Process Engineer role at Procter & Gamble from January 2022 to March 2023, and an Engineering Intern position at Mars in summer 2021. Nicolas also completed a Process Engineering Co-Op at Ergon Inc. from June 2020 to May 2021, where OSHA training was undertaken and grassroots P&IDs were constructed. Leadership experience includes serving as President of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, focusing on community and career-oriented events, and managing social media as the Webmaster. Additional experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Carrero Research Group involved working with metal oxide catalysts for methane reforming applications. Nicolas began a career in the technical field while studying at Auburn University, earning a BSChE in Chemical Engineering in 2021.
