Vinayak Barve

Vinayak Barve serves as the Head of Turbomachinery at NET Power since October 2024, previously holding the position of VP of Engineering and Chief Engineer at Vericor Power Systems LLC from April 2016 to September 2024, where oversight of engineering and technical projects for aero derivative gas turbines occurred. At Siemens, from October 2006 to March 2016, Vinayak led the development of fuel-flexible low-emissions gas turbine combustors, managed large-scale R&D programs, and resolved product validation issues. Early career experience includes research roles at the University of Texas at Austin, focusing on CFD modeling and aerosol dynamics, as well as a brief stint as a software engineer at Infosys Technologies Ltd. Vinayak holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
