Reed Hastings

Reed Hastings is the Chairman of Powder since April 2023 and has served as Chairman of Netflix since October 1997, where Reed held the position of CEO from 1998 to 2023. Hastings is a board member of multiple organizations, including the KIPP Foundation and the Pahara Institute since 2011, with past board membership at the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley, Facebook, Dreambox, California Charter Schools Association, and Microsoft. Hastings served as President of the California State Board of Education from 2000 to 2004. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Bowdoin College and a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science from Stanford University.
