Jessica Neal is a Netflix veteran, starting at the company in 2006 when DVD was king and streaming just a dream, and has been heavily involved in improving the Netflix culture as the company grew. In 2013 she left to become head of human resources at Coursera, which provides online access to the world’s best university courses, and, later, Chief People Officer at Scopely, a leading player in the mobile gaming industry. She returned to Netflix in the first half of 2017, overseeing HR for the 2000-person product engineering team responsible for continuously improving the Netflix consumer experience. Neal also serves on the board of directors of the Association for Talent Development.
