Jon April

Jon April is the Vice President, Security and Cloud Operations at Netreo. Prior to this, they were the Security Compliance Manager at TaskUs from April 2019 to May 2021. Jon has also worked as a Security Risk and Compliance Management Specialist at Rackspace from June 2017 to April 2019 and as an Information Security Manager at Tolt Solutions from July 2015 to April 2016.

Jon has fifteen years of experience with organization and acquisition activity. Jon is a PCI Internal Security Assessor (ISA) certification (2015) and a PCIP (2016). Jon has also implemented corporate Information Security Programs, been responsible for maintaining and meeting compliance requirements, and provided support for IT with Linux OS problem escalations. Additionally, they have experience with system hardening, vulnerability scanning and remediation, supporting penetration testing efforts and remediation, file integrity monitoring, centralized logging and analysis, change management for security and datacenter operations, datacenter security monitoring and response, and recommending and applying security best practices across entire organizations.

Jon April has four certifications: CISSP from (ISC)², PCIP from PCI Security Standards Council, GPEN from GIAC Certifications, and PCI ISA from PCI Security Standards Council.

Their manager is Jasmin Young, CEO. They are on a team with Ged Caldwell - Chief Revenue Officer, Andrew Anderson - Co-Founder and President, and Matt Watson - CTO.
