Beck Lavender has a diverse and extensive work experience in the gaming industry. In 2013, Beck worked as a Programming Intern at 22cans, where they contributed to the development of Godus, focusing on analytics and implementing new features. From 2015 to 2017, at Playtonic Ltd, Beck served as an Incredible Engineer, primarily focused on gameplay for the game Yooka-Laylee. They also personally designed and managed a visual scripting tool for team members. Starting in 2018, Beck became a Programmer at an undisclosed company, working on an unannounced prototype for Sketchbook Games using UE4, Blueprint, and C++. They were previously part of a team of three programmers that worked on Lost Words: Beyond the Page, a narrative game released on multiple platforms in 2020 and 2021. Beck's latest role is as a Gameplay Engineer at Netspeak Games, a position they started in October 2022.
Beck Lavender began their education journey at The Petersfield School from 2004 to 2009. However, no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
