Rob Brighouse is a Senior Independent Non-executive Director at Network Rail. Rob has previously served as Chairman of the East West Railway Company, a government arm's length body responsible for developing a railway connection between Oxford and Cambridge, as well as intermediate points. Rob has also co-founded and served as Chairman of Sn-ap Travel Technology Ltd., a technology company specializing in travel booking and reservations. In addition, they have served as a Non Executive Director for Motionhouse Dance Theatre and Arriva TrainCare. Rob has also held the position of Deputy Managing Director for London Overground Rail Operations Ltd (LOROL), where they were responsible for concession management, project delivery, and operational delivery of the East London Line. Rob has also served as Bid & Mobilisation Director for LOROL. Prior to their current position, they were Managing Director for Chiltern Railways.

Rob Brighouse has an honorary doctorate of science from Aston University, a master's of business administration from Aston Business School, and a bachelor's of science in civil engineering from the University of Leeds. Rob also attended Fair Oak School in Rugeley.
