Michael Recce

Michael Recce is the current Managing Director and Chief Data Scientist at Neuberger Berman. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Data Scientist at GIC from October 2016 to May 2017, and at Point72 Asset Management from August 2014 to October 2015. Michael was also the founding director of the Aperio team at both companies. Recce has held various other positions including Head of Machine Learning and co-head of Engineering at Quantcast from January 2010 to July 2014, Chief Scientist at Fortent from January 2006 to December 2009, and Managing Partner at Alpha ROC LLC.

Michael Recce has a PhD in Neuroscience from UCL and a BS in Physics from University of California, Santa Cruz.
