Nicole Althaus is an accomplished author and columnist currently contributing to NZZ am Sonntag since August 2023. Previously, from September 2014 to August 2023, Nicole served as the editor-in-chief of magazines at NZZ, where key achievements included the conceptualization and launch of the lifestyle platform NZZ Bellevue and the establishment of the NZZ am Sonntag magazine. Nicole's editorial experience also includes leading the editorial team at AZmedien as editor-in-chief of wir eltern from September 2010 to August 2014, managing a print relaunch, and representing the brand through public speaking engagements. Earlier roles include initiating and leading the Mamablog at tagesanzeiger.ch and serving as deputy head of the reporting section at Annabelle. Nicole holds a licentiate degree in German studies and art history from the University of Zurich and Berlin, completed between 1988 and 1994.
